Anti- Bullying Policy

Glenrothes High School

Policy Statement

Glenrothes High School is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for all members of our school community.

Bullying is an anti-social behaviour and affects everyone.  All types of bullying are unacceptable at Glenrothes High School and will not be tolerated.

All pupils should feel able to recognise and disclose incidences of bullying.  When bullying behaviour is brought to our attention, prompt and effective action will be taken.

A large proportion of incidences of bullying occur in public and therefore all members of the Glenrothes High School community have a responsibility to prevent bullying.

Anyone who is aware of any type of bullying that is taking place is expected to inform a member of staff immediately.
